The race for upcoming World Test Championship Final is getting interesting and tight with each match as every teams are fighting out for only two spot. Australia are currently the table topper with 75.55 PCT and India is on the second position with 58.93 PCT.

India:

Indian team will play 4 Test Matches Series on home Soil starting from February 2023.

India are currently in second position with 58.93 percentage points after defeating Bangladesh  in thrilling encounter in 2nd Test Match at Mirpur by 3 Wickets and winning the 2 match test Series 2-0. With this series win(2-0) their chances for qualification improved a lot. 

But Indian need to win atleast 3 games against Australia when they meet them in 4 match series in February,even if they lose 1 game against Aussie, then also they will reach 62.5 percentage points. 62.5 percentage will ensure that India qualifies into WTC Finals as both Australia and South Africa can't cross that number. If India lose 2  out 4 matches against Australia then their percentage will drop down to 56.94 and they need other result to go in their favour.

Win BGT by 3-1 or 3-0: India will qualify without any problem.

Win 2 Tests in BGT, NZ win/draw 1 out of 2 Tests Vs SL.

If India lose BGT by 2-1 India can still qualify: If WI win/draw 1 out of 2 Tests Vs SA and NZ wins 1 Test Vs SL.

South African team is in now in difficult position after loosing 3 matche Test Series against Australia 2-0,now their qualification chances got more tough atleast they should try to win ther remaining 2 matches.

South Africa are now at 4th Position in Points Table with 48.71 percentage points after loosing test series 2-0 against Australia.

South Africa only 2 matches against West Indies at their home. South Africa now have to clean sweep West Indies at their home and or else  their dream of qualifying in WTC Final will be smashed.

So South Africa should atleast try  to win their remaining 2 matches against West Indies) to be in contention,if they manage to win all 2  remaining matches then will still finish at 55.55 percentage point and hope of qualifying in WTC Finals will be alive,also hope that Australia will be able to win few matches against India.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka's remaining matches:

2 Matches vs New Zealand ( 9-21 March 2023)

Sri Lanka is currently on 4th Position in Points Table with 53.33 percentage points. Sri Lankan team qualification in WTC Finals is in their hand only. They just need to beat New Zealand team in 2 Match Test Series by 2-0 and they will finish with 61 percentage points and they will be in contention for finals.
