The most awaited nomination for 95th Academy Awards are announced and without any suprise ,RRR Movie Directed by SS Rajamouli has been nominated for an Oscar 2023 in the category of Best Orginal Song for 'Naatu Naatu' which recently had won 'Golden Globe Award'.

In the best Original song Category ,RRR song 'Naatu Naatu' is competing with other four nomination "Applause"( Tell it like a women),"Lift Me Up"(Blank Panther:Wakanda Forever),"Hold my Hand( Top Gun : Maverick),"This is Life"( Everything Everywhere All at Once). 

Indian Offical Entery 'Chhello show' or 'The Last Picture Show' missed out the nomination in the Best International Feature Film Category as RRR was not selected as the official entery for Oscar,but two Indian made documentaries film  'All that Breathes' has been nominated for the Best Documentary Feature Film and 'The Elephant Whisperers ' for Best Documentary Shorts.

The Nomination were announced by the actor Allison Williams and actor rapper Riz Ahmed on Tuesday Evening. 'Naatu Naatu' got the nomination is composed by M.M Keeravani with lyrics from Chandrabose and sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava.

Starring Jr NTR and Ramcharan in lead role,RRR is an epic action historic movie setup in pre independence era acquiring cult status across the globe after it released on Netflix. It had already won Golden Globe Award and Best Critic Choice Award and this nomination will surely increase the chance for RRR movie to bag all important Oscar in their kity. 

RRR and two documentaries will make it 3 nomination from Indian side for this time in Oscar 2023, previously Mother India,Salaam Bombay and Laagan were nominated the Best Feature Film in Oscars. Bhanu Athaiya had won Oscar for Best Costume Design for Gandhi movie,AR Rahman and Gulzar won Oscar for Slumdog Millionaire,MM Keeravani will join this elite list if 'Naatu Naatu' manage to win Oscar for best original song.

The 95th Academy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on 12th March and Jimmy Kimmel will be the host for 3rd time.
